Senior Staff DevOps Engineer

IonQ is seeking a Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to lead the technical direction and roadmap for their software factory, which handles the secure and efficient delivery of code from commit to production. This role involves hands-on work in building and operating CI/CD platforms, infrastructure as code, and security scanning, with a focus on automation and embedding security into every stage of the development lifecycle.

• Set technical direction and roadmap for the software factory
• Own architecture and tooling decisions for code delivery
• Embed security scanning and policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines
• Manage release engineering, dependency management, and supply chain security
• Build and improve the internal developer platform
• Engineer and test infrastructure as code modules
