Principal Engineer - Platform Engineer

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the secure, scalable infrastructure powering their next-generation threat prevention platforms. You will manage the orchestration plane and automate deployment pipelines for global operations, ensuring system reliability and enabling engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge security products at scale.

• Architect and maintain high-scale Kubernetes clusters on GCP
• Deploy and optimize GCP managed data services (Bigtable, BigQuery)
• Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with Terraform
• Build and support CI/CD deployment pipelines with ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD
• Drive SRE practices with observability, metrics, and alerting
• Partner with Data Plane and Data Pipeline engineers for performance optimization
