About this role

This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of our payment systems. You will bridge development and operations by applying software engineering principles to system administration, splitting your time between on-call duties and developing systems to enhance site reliability.

What we are looking for

Perform chaos engineering to identify and remediate system failure points
Push systems to their limits and design for next-level performance
Implement DevOps and GitOps practices for automation and self-service
Ensure services are highly available, resilient, self-monitoring, and self-healing
Conduct game days to test reliability assumptions and identify potential failures
Build systems for proactive monitoring of virtualised infrastructure health and performance
