About this role

Empower is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and support cloud-native platform capabilities. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices, supporting the organization's transition toward SRE principles.

What we are looking for

Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD
Support containerized platforms like Kubernetes/EKS and microservices architectures
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability and scalability
Contribute to observability practices including monitoring, logging, and alerting
Modernize legacy systems toward cloud-native architectures
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code
