Avionics Systems Engineer II

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Systems Engineer to join their Engines business unit. This role bridges technical definition and programmatic execution for avionics systems, requiring a blend of systems engineering rigor and project management skills. You will manage requirements, interfaces, and verification activities while also tracking tasks, procurement, and build coordination to ensure hardware delivery on schedule.

• Develop, allocate, and manage system and subsystem requirements
• Define system and subsystem interfaces through ICDs and IRDs
• Develop and maintain Verification and Validation (V&V) plans
• Manage an agile task board with critical linkages and dependencies
• Create and maintain lines of balance (LOB) for hardware production flow
• Utilize AI & Machine learning to improve program execution
