About this role

GDIT is seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to architect, build, and evolve secure, scalable cloud solutions for a generative AI platform supporting NIH research. This role requires deep Microsoft Azure expertise, strong understanding of AI/LLM technologies, infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices. The engineer will serve as a technical lead, translating requirements into well-designed cloud solutions and owning complex projects from architecture through operations.

What we are looking for

Architect, implement, and evolve Azure cloud solutions for generative AI applications
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Design and integrate DevOps and CI/CD capabilities
Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance, reliability, security, and cost
Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor engineers
Obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
