Principal - Platform Engineer

Nasdaq is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to develop, operate, and evolve critical trading system infrastructure. You will lead technical direction, establish standards, drive automation, and resolve complex performance issues in hybrid AWS and on-premises environments. This role requires deep expertise in Linux, cloud technologies, and platform engineering.

• Lead engineering, automation, and operational management of core platform technologies
• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable hybrid infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code
• Develop and enhance platform automation using Terraform and shell scripting
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, and performance issues
• Drive platform engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor other engineers and influence technical standards and platform strategy
