Engineer, Retail Tech Operations

VF is seeking a Retail Tech Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of retail technology systems. This role bridges engineering and store operations, focusing on minimizing downtime and enhancing customer and associate experiences through system monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization.

• Monitor and maintain store systems including POS, payment devices, and network infrastructure
• Proactively identify and resolve system issues impacting store operations
• Lead incident triage, root cause analysis, and resolution for major incidents
• Analyze system performance metrics and support improvements for stability and scalability
• Support deployment and validation of new features and releases in store environments
• Leverage monitoring tools like Datadog and develop dashboards for end-to-end visibility
