About this role

FanDuel is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to own the design, operation, and maturity of their Kubernetes platforms and service mesh ecosystem. You will work with the Infrastructure Engineering Director to set standards, mentor engineers, lead incident response, and build automation to improve reliability and performance.

What we are looking for

Own design and operation of Kubernetes platforms across AWS EKS clusters
Mature Kong Mesh ecosystem for production-grade service-to-service communication
Define and implement service-to-service communication patterns including zero-trust networking
Build infrastructure-as-code, automation, and tooling to reduce toil
Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs for infrastructure services
Lead incident response for Kubernetes or mesh issues
