About this role

As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will lead the DevOps strategy for GE Vernova's Transmission Software portfolio, driving the transformation of software delivery practices. You will modernize build and release systems, establish enterprise-scale CI/CD standards, and accelerate engineering productivity through automation and cloud-native platforms. This role requires deep expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and a proven track record of leading large-scale DevOps transformations.

Define and own the DevOps vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Transmission Software portfolio
Lead the standardization and modernization of CI/CD platforms and release pipelines
Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices and integrate security into engineering workflows
Establish enterprise-wide standards for source control, automated testing, and deployment
Partner with engineering teams to enable cloud-native development and automation frameworks
Implement observability solutions and track key DevOps metrics
