Senior Software Engineer – Platform & Data Infrastructure

ID.me is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to architect, scale, and maintain its core cloud-native platform and data infrastructure. You will own multi-region Kubernetes fleets, GitOps pipelines, and enterprise data workflows, transforming complex infrastructure into self-service capabilities for developers. This hands-on role requires deep expertise in cloud-native distributed systems and Infrastructure as Code.

• Operate and scale cloud-native Kubernetes fleets (GKE/EKS)
• Drive GitOps and CI/CD delivery with FluxCD
• Architect and manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Maintain and optimize data platform infrastructure (Airflow, Kafka, BigQuery)
• Enforce zero-trust security and secrets management
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers
