About this role

IG is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain our scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will implement best practices in IaC, CI/CD, and Kubernetes, while mentoring junior engineers and enabling development teams to operate services with speed and confidence. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer looking to shape the future of a FTSE 100 fintech.

What we are looking for

Design and architect scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and establish DevOps/DevSecOps best practices
Architect and manage Kubernetes environments (EKS, AKS, GKE)
Define and enforce monitoring, alerting, and observability standards
Mentor junior engineers and foster collaboration across teams
7+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering with deep AWS knowledge
