Principal Engineer Software/Sr Principal Engineer Software (Infrastructure)

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Software Engineer to join their Global Surveillance Division in Melbourne, Florida. This role focuses on infrastructure, including containerization, OS hardening, and network security. You will be responsible for deploying, automating, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems and software infrastructure, participating in the full software development lifecycle, and interacting with program management and government customers.

• Containerization and securing of applications
• Operating System hardening and network security
• Deploying, automating, maintaining, and troubleshooting systems and software infrastructure
• Full life cycle of software development
• Hands-on technical experience with virtualization and environment automation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret security clearance
