About this role

Vanguard is seeking a Platform Engineer, Specialist to manage and support enterprise workload automation and job scheduling environments. You will partner with various teams to onboard, deploy, and support scheduled workloads, acting as a functional expert for tools like Control-M. This role requires strong operational awareness and the ability to troubleshoot and improve scheduling processes.

What we are looking for

Configure, maintain, and support enterprise job scheduling and workload automation solutions
Onboard, validate, and deploy scheduled workloads into non-production and production environments
Monitor batch processing and scheduled workloads, identifying and analyzing job failures
Serve as a subject matter resource on scheduling standards and best practices
Document scheduling processes, support procedures, and operational standards
3+ years of experience supporting enterprise scheduling or workload automation
