Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer to provide high-level systems consultation for Mainframe/iSeries applications. This role involves monitoring, supporting, and improving the availability and efficiency of critical mainframe systems, with a focus on automation using Python and Ansible.

• Monitor Mainframe MVS operation systems and resolve issues
• Develop and review Knowledge Management documentation
• Participate in large-scale planning of computer systems and network infrastructure
• Build automation strategy using Python and Ansible
• Consult with engineering teams on change design
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues
