About this role

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the 24/7 reliability and scalability of their automated material transport software. This role focuses on proactive incident prevention, modernizing infrastructure with Python and Java, and optimizing critical middleware. You will design data pipelines, implement observability, and automate operations to enhance fab throughput.

What we are looking for

Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of AMHS control software
Design and build scalable back-end data pipelines for fab control systems
Develop proactive monitoring and observability solutions
Act as primary escalation point for AMHS software anomalies
Troubleshoot complex software bottlenecks and network communications
Develop automation scripts for deployment, configuration, and recovery
