About this role

Proofpoint is seeking a Senior DevOps and Data Engineer to join their Data Platform team in Cordoba, Argentina. This hybrid role focuses on owning the reliability, automation, and delivery of systems powering data pipelines and analytics, with a strong emphasis on AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling.

What we are looking for

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AWS Glue ETL jobs and Athena views
Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform/CDK
Own the observability stack for data pipelines (metrics, logs, alerts)
Develop and maintain the DataOps platform for self-service tooling
Manage container and compute infrastructure (Docker, ECS/EKS)
Drive security best practices across the data platform
