About this role

As a Network/Cloud Engineer on the FEMA ITSA 3.0 program, you will assess cloud architectures, automation maturity, and security controls to enhance FEMA systems' speed, resilience, and compliance. You will evaluate cloud platforms, DevSecOps pipelines, and security implementations to identify gaps and recommend practical solutions, directly influencing the modernization of critical government technology.

What we are looking for

Evaluate cloud hosting architectures across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments
Assess CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps maturity, and artifact management
Review Infrastructure-as-Code adoption and configuration management
Assess cybersecurity controls, IAM, and vulnerability management
Recommend modern architecture enablers like API gateways and service mesh
Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of infrastructure, cloud, and security engineering experience
