Staff System Engineer – ADAS/AD Safety

Lucid Motors is seeking a Staff System Engineer to lead functional safety and SOTIF for ADAS/AD features. This role involves establishing core safety processes, authoring safety concepts and requirements, and owning the safety case framework for automated driving functions. You will be the internal expert on modern safety standards and contribute to building a robust Safety Management System.

• Lead functional safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF for ADAS/AD
• Own safety case framework for automated driving functions
• Establish core safety processes, artifacts, and architecture
• Integrate SOTIF into safety case for perception and AI/ML
• Define end-to-end safety case structure, claims, and evidence model
• Contribute to Safety Management System and governance
