About this role

Join Cisco's Linux SRE team as a remote Site Reliability Engineer to manage and automate the OS configuration and base images for over 6,000 servers transitioning to a Kubernetes ecosystem. You will own the reliability of critical infrastructure, reduce operational toil through automation, and contribute to infrastructure modernization projects.

What we are looking for

Automate Linux host lifecycle management
Migrate Ansible components to isolated repositories
Debug complex production issues across OS, performance, and service layers
Design and build infrastructure tooling
Embed FedRAMP requirements into infrastructure-as-code
Lead transition of workloads to Kubernetes clusters
