NOC Engineer

Proofpoint is seeking a NOC Engineer to monitor and maintain over 14,000 servers and 250 network devices across 8 data centers. You will troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and OS issues to ensure 99.99% system uptime, working in a rotating shift pattern.

• Monitor internal and production systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and OS issues
• Work trouble tickets and engage relevant personnel
• Document problem descriptions and diagnoses
• Maintain Operations documentation and knowledge base articles
• Experience with Linux, Python, and monitoring tools
