About this role

Sony Interactive Entertainment is seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and deploy application routing and networking platforms using Kubernetes and modern gateway/service mesh technologies. This role focuses on building stable, repeatable systems for low-latency, secure communication across PlayStation's hybrid infrastructure, supporting millions of users.

What we are looking for

Develop and maintain application routing frameworks
Improve routing with Kong API Gateway, Ingress Controller, and Konnect
Deploy and manage Kubernetes networking components
Enhance platform reliability, performance, and observability
Integrate routing platforms into CI/CD and GitOps workflows
Support globally distributed systems
