About this role
Level is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, and operate the core cloud infrastructure and developer platform powering all our learning products. You will own critical systems like Kubernetes, CI/CD, networking, and security, ensuring reliability and enabling faster development cycles for our engineering teams. This is a high-impact role on a senior team where your work directly influences performance, cost, and developer velocity.
What we are looking for
6- Architect, build, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps
- Manage and evolve Kubernetes (EKS) platform, including autoscaling and core add-ons
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for rapid and safe software delivery
- Own cloud networking, ingress/egress, service mesh, and DNS configurations
- Implement and leverage observability (OpenTelemetry, SigNoz) to drive reliability and cost decisions
- Apply cloud security best practices and operate security tooling, ensuring data privacy
