About this role

Roche is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer in Madrid to design, build, and implement resilient backup solutions and automation pipelines. This hybrid role involves 50% traditional infrastructure engineering and 50% infrastructure automation/coding, utilizing DevOps practices and Python for scripting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical business problems and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

What we are looking for

Design, build, and implement resilient infrastructure backup solutions
Apply DevOps practices to design test-driven infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Provision and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and orchestration systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and consult stakeholders
Strong proficiency in Python, Linux, CI/CD tools (Ansible, Jenkins), and Git
Experience with hypervisor technologies (Nutanix AHV, VMware ESXi) and backup solutions (Cohesity)
