About this role

Join the Globus Systems Operations team as a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure for a global research computing platform. You will integrate software development and operational best practices across our AWS services, manage a broad infrastructure estate as code, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure high availability and security.

What we are looking for

Design and document cloud infrastructure architecture across production and development environments
Develop, test, and maintain infrastructure as code in Python, Bash, Terraform, and CloudFormation
Maintain and evolve the machine-image and deployment supply chain
Manage monitoring, alerting, and security operations, including compliance automation
Operate and monitor production Globus services for high availability and participate in incident response
Provide operational and infrastructure guidance to software engineering teams
