Infrastructure Security Engineer

Sphinx Defense is seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure and scale cloud-native infrastructure for national security and space-focused software. You will integrate security into the SDLC, manage security tooling, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure, compliant, and resilient applications and infrastructure. This role offers significant influence on security architecture and development processes.

• Configure, integrate, and maintain security platforms across AWS and Kubernetes
• Build security into CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows
• Own cloud security tools including identity management, monitoring, and vulnerability scanning
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Manage security posture of multiple AWS accounts and organizations
• Implement security best practices and drive a security-first culture

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

• Requires a Ts Sci security clearance.
