About this role

Join our Special Intelligence RDT&E effort as a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer, where you will be instrumental in developing, integrating, and deploying our customer's mission processing platform. This role requires a deep understanding of Linux administration, Infrastructure-as-Code, and containerization to ensure the success of critical Space Force missions. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What we are looking for

Design, implement, and deploy OpenShift clusters and single-application servers
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Puppet and Ansible
Enforce infrastructure security best practices and prepare technical documentation
Lead cross-functional team activities and mentor junior engineers
Expert-level Linux administration (RedHat) and Kubernetes/Docker proficiency
Minimum 10 years IT/engineering experience with 3+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering
