About this role

RTX is seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate the infrastructure and services that enable AI/ML solutions. This hands-on role involves developing scalable backend services, APIs, and platform capabilities for AI applications, focusing on security, scalability, and observability.

What we are looking for

Design, develop, and operate scalable backend services and APIs for enterprise AI applications
Build and integrate AI platform capabilities including model access, gateways, and lifecycle management
Develop secure capabilities for agent and application identity, authentication, and authorization
Automate deployment using cloud-native technologies, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
Build observability capabilities for AI applications and agentic workloads
Partner with AI Architecture, Applied AI, and Cybersecurity teams to improve developer experience
