Site Reliability Engineer - Backup Infrastructure

Toyota Financial Services is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our enterprise backup infrastructure. You will maintain, modernize, and automate backup systems, ensuring critical data is protected and recoverable within defined objectives. This role involves designing observability, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability.

• Manage enterprise backup infrastructure (AWS Backups, NetBackup, Cohesity)
• Ensure reliability of daily backups and restores (RTO/RPO)
• Automate backup workflows and improve efficiency
• Implement observability and alerting (e.g., Dynatrace)
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement fixes
• Participate in capacity planning, DR, and BCP exercises
