Staff Engineer - Cloud Platform

Join Calix as a Staff Engineer on our Cloud Platform team, where you will architect and operate highly scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure powering next-generation broadband services. You will drive platform modernization, implement robust observability and automation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure carrier-grade reliability for our global service provider customers.

• Design, architect, and operate highly available, scalable, secure, and resilient cloud platform infrastructure
• Drive platform modernization using cloud-native technologies and automation frameworks
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Design and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including GKE, Compute Engine, and Pub/Sub
• Configure and optimize HA Proxy for load balancing and NATS messaging infrastructure
• Support telecom and broadband infrastructure including OLTs, ONTs, and routers
