About this role
KBR is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage and secure AWS GovCloud environments for Navy and DoD aviation systems. You will be responsible for administering AWS infrastructure, implementing robust monitoring with CloudWatch, and ensuring system resilience, security, and recoverability. This role involves automation, containerization, and supporting critical defense applications.
What we are looking for
6- Administer AWS GovCloud resources (EC2, S3, FSx, VPC)
- Implement and manage Amazon CloudWatch monitoring and alerting
- Automate infrastructure deployment with Terraform and CloudFormation
- Manage Windows Server and Linux environments
- Deploy and administer Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
- Ensure system security, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities
