Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Workday is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to support and scale our large-scale MySQL and open-source database environments. You will drive automation, participate in an on-call rotation, and architect robust database services for our production systems. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced, growing cloud environment.

• 7+ years managing enterprise cloud databases at scale
• 3+ years with MySQL/PostgreSQL in AWS/GCP
• Experience with managed cloud databases (Aurora, Cloud SQL)
• Proficient in Python or Go with Linux and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Support mission-critical, high-availability production workloads
