Senior Chief IaaS Engineer

Leidos is seeking a Senior Chief IaaS Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of private cloud infrastructure for a NATO-secured international program. This role involves technical leadership for virtualization, automation, and platform modernization, ensuring secure and scalable solutions. You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines and provide technical direction for Agile delivery.

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise IaaS solutions for private cloud SDDC modernization
• Serve as technical authority for VMware-based private cloud infrastructure
• Provide technical leadership for Platform, Network, Firewall, and Backup & Recovery teams
• Develop enterprise infrastructure architectures for core services and DevOps
• Lead automation-driven implementation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Mentor senior engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices

• Must be authorized to work without sponsorship.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
