Director, Site Reliability Engineering

Salesforce is seeking a Director of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the evolution of their reliability, observability, and operational engineering capabilities. This role involves transforming the SRE function from reactive incident response to a proactive, automated, and data-driven culture. You will manage a team of engineers, drive cross-functional alignment, and define the strategy, tooling, and automation needed to scale system reliability across the enterprise.

• Define and execute long-term SRE strategy and roadmap
• Build and develop a high-performing team of SRE and operations engineers
• Modernize SRE through automation, AI-assisted operations, and self-service
• Establish enterprise observability strategy spanning metrics, logs, traces, and more
• Improve incident detection, response, mitigation, and learning
• Develop roadmap for intelligent operations including anomaly detection and automated remediation
