Staff Platform Engineer, Platform Development

Simplesense is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to own the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of their Installation Resilience Platform. This role involves end-to-end ownership of cloud infrastructure, application hosting, and security tooling, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical leadership to ensure the platform meets mission requirements.

• Own technical strategy, architecture, and delivery of the operational platform
• Manage cloud infrastructure, application hosting, user access, and security tooling
• Lead system design and architecture for core platform components
• Provide hands-on technical contributions and mentorship to the team
• Improve reliability, performance, security, and development workflows
• Collaborate with Product and Operations teams to ensure platform resilience
