Senior Platform Engineer, Connectivity

Simplesense is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and build automation, tooling, and infrastructure for onboarding customer facilities into their cloud-hybrid platform. This role involves leading complex work in platform engineering, Linux systems, networking, and infrastructure automation, with a focus on security and scalability. You will own ambiguous technical problems, drive solutions from design to implementation, and mentor junior engineers.

• Design and implement reusable tooling and configuration-driven workflows for infrastructure lifecycle management
• Develop and maintain automation for Linux systems and network appliances
• Translate operational needs into scalable technical workflows for onboarding and maintenance
• Build automation and infrastructure patterns aligned with zero-trust principles
• Solve ambiguous infrastructure and workflow problems and drive solutions
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and reinforce strong engineering standards

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Requires a Secret security clearance.
