Senior Systems Engineer, Product

Valar Atomics is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Torrance, CA. This role will focus on applying AI to the design and licensing of nuclear reactor systems for a Department of Energy project. You will develop architecture models, prepare licensing documents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance clean energy solutions.

• Support system architecture development and design
• Apply systems engineering lifecycle processes

• Perform trade studies and risk assessments
• Assess AI assisted architecture design and author reports for the DOE
