Staff Engineer Software (Infrastructure)

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Infrastructure to join their Global Surveillance Division in Melbourne, Florida. This role involves containerization, OS hardening, network security, and automating/improving software infrastructure for rapid deployment and maintainability. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, solve complex integration problems, and interact with program management and government customers.

• Containerization and securing of applications
• Operating System hardening and network security
• Deploying, automating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving systems and software infrastructure
• Hands-on technical experience with virtualization, environment automation, and management
• Full life cycle of software development
• Ability to lead a team and drive solutions for complex problems
