Senior Lead Platform Reliability Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Platform Reliability Engineer to join their CTO Platform organization. This role focuses on applying SRE practices to enhance the availability, resiliency, and operational excellence of critical enterprise platforms. You will leverage deep technical expertise in a core platform discipline and collaborate across domains to investigate systemic issues and drive automation for platform stability.

• Serve as reliability engineering expert for primary domain (Network, Middleware, Database, or Storage)
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex production incidents
• Apply SRE principles including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
• Perform deep performance analysis and identify bottlenecks
• Drive proactive reliability improvements through observability and automation
• Mentor engineers on reliability engineering and best practices
