About this role
Amentum is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in Dahlgren, VA, to lead Fire Control System Development efforts for the Submarine Launched Ballistic Missile Program. You will research new technologies, advise the government on fleet capabilities, and contribute to the Navy's new system design.
What we are looking for
6- Provide Systems Engineering support for SLBM groups
- Facilitate SLBM Meetings and Design Reviews
- Perform analysis and review of Fire Control System designs
- Coordinate with engineering and management disciplines
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Direct interface and liaison with customers
