Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability

Upstart is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Site Reliability Engineering team to ensure the reliability, resiliency, and observability of production systems. This role involves building tooling and automation to monitor infrastructure health, improve incident response, and mitigate operational risks. You will contribute to shaping the future of SRE practices at Upstart, impacting the success of the entire company.

• Owns reliability, resiliency, and observability of production systems
• Builds tooling and automation for infrastructure monitoring
• Improves incident response practices and automates toil
• Implements standards for monitoring microservices, databases, and ML platforms
• Minimum 6 years of experience in SRE, Software Engineering, or DevOps
• Proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Terraform
