About this role

FanDuel is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to design, operate, and mature their Kubernetes platforms and service mesh ecosystem across AWS. You will set standards, mentor engineers, lead incident response, and build automation to improve reliability and performance.

What we are looking for

Design and operate Kubernetes platform across EKS clusters
Own the Kong Mesh ecosystem and mature it into a production-grade platform
Define and implement service-to-service communication patterns
Build infrastructure-as-code, automation, and tooling
Lead incident response for Kubernetes or mesh issues
Mentor engineers on Kubernetes internals and distributed systems
