Staff Software Systems Engineer- Medical Device

Stryker is seeking a technical leader to guide the development of complex, software-driven medical device systems for their Neurosurgical group. This role bridges systems engineering and software development, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs, system architecture, and regulatory requirements. You will translate needs into requirements, contribute to architecture, drive integration and verification, and ensure traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Translate user, clinical, and system-level needs into traceable software requirements
• Contribute to early concept development and system architecture decisions
• Drive software system integration, verification, and validation
• Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability across requirements, architecture, and testing
• Coach and guide teams in developing high-quality, compliant requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, and R&D teams
