Cloud Engineer

Vanguard is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and implement cloud-native applications and databases on AWS. This role involves translating technical specifications into code, ensuring automated testing, and supporting production environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and adhere to IT policies while leveraging modern software development principles and AI-assisted development tools.

• Senior-level system analysis, design, and implementation on AWS
• Develop and integrate applications and databases using Python, Node.js, and Angular
• Expertise in AWS cloud technologies (Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, Glue)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Provide production support and mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate technical concepts
