Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Join the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical financial systems. You will leverage your expertise in software engineering, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and DevOps to ensure high availability and operational excellence, while mentoring junior team members.

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient systems on AWS
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Automate deployment pipelines, monitoring, and operational workflows using Terraform and GitLab CI/CD
• Collaborate with development teams to implement reliability best practices and conduct code reviews
• Mentor junior SRE team members and promote SRE culture
• Ensure security and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
