Senior Site Reliability Engineer I

Join our new Enterprise GitHub Operations & Tooling team as a foundational Site Reliability Engineer. You will design, build, and manage core services and tooling to automate and enforce policies for our GitHub Enterprise environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI and shape the future of our developer workflows.

• Design and develop scalable software solutions using Go for GitHub Enterprise APIs
• Automate GitHub organization and repository lifecycle management
• Implement policy enforcement using GitHub Apps and Actions
• Integrate GitHub with enterprise services and drive automation initiatives
• Explore and implement Generative AI tools to enhance productivity
• Strong background in SRE or infrastructure with IaC experience (Terraform)
