About this role

M&T Bank is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, operate, and secure its enterprise container platform. You will lead complex engineering initiatives, automate operations, and ensure platform reliability and security in hybrid-cloud environments. This role requires deep OpenShift/Kubernetes expertise combined with strong Linux, networking, automation, and security skills.

What we are looking for

Architect, deploy, and scale production OpenShift clusters
Automate cluster provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks
Diagnose and resolve complex issues across Kubernetes, Linux, and related technologies
Establish monitoring, alerting, and performance improvements for platform reliability
Enforce platform security controls and collaborate with cybersecurity teams
Mentor other engineers and present technical recommendations to stakeholders
