About this role

Join the Cisco Global SE Demo Team as a Platform Engineer to build and operate a new global platform for sales demonstrations. You will work hands-on with Linux, Kubernetes, and automation to manage cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, and CI/CD pipelines. This role is key to enabling other teams to provision virtual machines and lab environments for customer and partner use.

What we are looking for

Build and operate production Kubernetes clusters, including bare-metal environments
Manage cluster fundamentals: Linux nodes, networking, ingress, storage, RBAC, security
Run KubeVirt in production for VM lifecycle management
Automate infrastructure using Terraform/Ansible and GitOps
Contribute to Kubernetes APIs for VM and network automation
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
