Staff Systems Engineer, Electric Propulsion

Archer, an aerospace company, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to own and manage requirements for their all-electric aircraft propulsion systems. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, resolving complex engineering issues, and ensuring compliance with aviation certification standards.

• Own ARP4754A-compliant requirements at system, subsystem, and component levels
• Author implementable requirements for propulsion hardware and embedded software
• Lead cross-functional engineering problem review forums and triage system-level issues
• Triage and disposition flight test anomalies and manage flight-critical open issues
• Support airworthiness and certification with propulsion technical understanding
• Own the propulsion SE interface to aircraft systems stakeholders
