Senior DevOps Engineer

KBR is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their National Security Solutions team in El Segundo, California. This role focuses on enhancing national security through advanced engineering and technology solutions for space communication systems. You will be instrumental in defining and implementing next-generation systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the security and efficiency of critical defense infrastructure.

• Lead release management and deployment of microservices in Kubernetes environments (AWS, Azure)
• Design and implement security monitoring, compliance controls, and incident response automation
• Deploy DevOps practices to automate software engineering across multiple projects
• Ensure robust foundational processes and make key design decisions impacting the software team
• Work with developers to implement secure coding practices and application security testing
• Deploy applications using Helm and ArgoCD, and manage infrastructure with Terraform
